Thanks for taking the time to read, and now, on to the week in sports followed by my favorite pictures and favorite videos of the week.

This week in sports we learned that the Tourney is expanding to 68 teams rather than 96 as we all rejoice in the fact that the NCAA actually has a brain, the Spurs are still the team to beat in Texas, the Indians are the most hated team in baseball by its own fan base, I was right when I predicted Tyreke Evans would win rookie of the year, Ovechkin is overrated or else he wouldn't have blown a 3-1 lead to an 8 seed, Durant and the Thunder are a year away from taking over the world, Paul Konerko is a fuckin' home run machine, you must NOT fear the deer....'til next year at least, the Mets are a mirage and certainly can't hang with the Phils for the whole season, the Nuggets are a shell of themselves without George Karl leading the way, the Red Sox are about as good as Jimmy Fallon's performance in Fever Pitch, it's not worth buying any pay-per-view boxing matches unless Mayweather fights Pacquiao, Deron Williams has claimed the title of NBA's Best Point Guard, Tiger is actually human, and as good as Messi is he's not good enough to carry Barcelona to the UEFA Final.

**Side note on the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao comment**
Manny Pacquiao, just 48 hours after the Floyd Mayweather victory over Shane Mosley, made this statement when asked if the bout against Mayweather would happen.

"I am willing to help the sport for the future of the sport. I do not want to see anyone cheat or cheat this sport. For that reason I am willing to consider taking blood [tests] as close as 14 days prior to the fight, as long as my opponent does the same, and it is not a lot of blood, just enough to test," Pacquiao is quoted as saying on his official website."

-So it sounds like this fight is actually gonna happen. THANK GOD!! I can not wait!

Finally, save time for my NFL Draft Preview Column which drops tomorrow. It will not disappoint. I promise. Thanks for taking the time to read, and now, on to the week in sports followed by my favorite pictures of the week.

This week in sports we learned that Superbowl MVP's who hit women in the face with glass bottles are only worth 5th round picks while Superbowl winning QBs are worth the baggage they come with, the Rays and Yankees are real good, the Red Sox are really not, Artest is the kryptonite to Durant's supertalents, the Lions uncorked the champagne as the Astros made sure they won't go 0-for, the Trailblazers play through injuries better than any team in sports, the Phillies' bats can actually be quieted, the Mavericks finally stole the title of best basketball team in Texas, being the favored seed in the NHL playoffs makes absolutely no difference, Kevin Garnett throws dirty elbows, the Jazz can't catch a break, Harrison Barnes may be the next Kobe, Brandon Jennings is gonna be a superduperstar, just like the rest of humanity Jerry Jones says funny things when he's wasted, and for the first time in a while it seems as if the NFL Draft will begin without the first pick already signed to a contract.
